The workshop, titled “Social-Emotional Leadership for Transformational Change: Leading from the Heart“, will take place on March 17, 2023, at 9 AM PST, at the 2023 CAAASA Statewide Professional Development Summit at the Hyatt Regency Orange County in Garden Grove, CA.
The workshop is designed for educational leaders who want to explore social-emotional skills as a foundation for transformational leadership. Participants will engage in thoughtful reflection and interactive activities led by Edgar Jones and Dr. Shawn Hrncir, who will provide insights and strategies for developing heart-based leadership practices that create connection and transformational change at the organizational level.
Edgar Jones is an experienced speaker, coach, and former NFL player who brings a wealth of knowledge and excitement to every event. Dr. Shawn Hrncir is an educator, health advocate, and teaching professor at Arizona State University with over twenty years of experience in education, curriculum design and development, program management, educational leadership, and community service. Together, they will provide a dynamic and engaging learning experience for all attendees.
